What's involved in signing up for ourquartet.com?
You simply fill out a form that asks for contact information and a headline and text that you would like on your home page. It should take less than ten minutes.
How long will it take until my new website is available?
As soon as you submit the form, your site will be available to use and edit, but with a temporary directory name. As soon as we verify that everything is OK, we will rename your directory to the name you have requested, usually within 24 hours.
Can it be used for both men's and women's quartets?
Yes, it can. It can even be used for mixed quartets, and non-barbershop quartets.
Can I upload photos?
Photos can be attached to an email and sent to me at harry@quartetmatch.com . The site comes with a default photo for the home page, and we will replace it with your photo as soon as you send it. As many photos as you like can be sent, and we will add them to your Photo Gallery.
What content should I add first?
The text on the home page and the Bios page should be added first. Then it is good to add your current repertoire, upcoming events, quartet news, and profiles of your quartet members. The more content that you have, the more that the visiting fans will form an emotional connection with you.
How can I contact the entire fan base?
Everyone who registers as a Fan on the site can be contacted by adding a news item. These news items can be posted on the site, or emailed to all registed fans.
Are these features available to choruses too?
Yes, they are. It is assumed that choruses will have a current web site, but the Newz and Viewz area is designed to be linked into chorus web sites to give them all these benefits of fan interaction.
